At SMW 2011, I thought the display we had was absolutely superb, maybe we didn't have the numbers of models as we have had previously but the quality of the exhibits was first class.
We also had a small display of Emhar Bedford conversions which seemed to be well received. I propose a similar display again at SMW 2012, but this time we'll continue the theme from the main display of 'Camping and Caravanning'. So, using whatever vehicle kits you prefer, in whatever scale you prefer, build a model on the proposed theme. I'll put up a few rules soon, we don't have a prize as yet but I'm sure we can sort something.

Hi Nick, I've just managed to pick up a W&G van so I'm toying with the idea of doing that photo I showed you at the nationals of the house truck on the van instead of the Bedford?
I'll copy the photo when I'm off and get it on here.
Would anyone have two spare van wheels going? As it will need to be a four wheeler at the rear.

Ah, while we are on the subject of spares, I don't suppose anybody has 4 van wheels/tyres (or something of similar size) they could part with?
Thanks in advance
Brian

OK I'm ready, well more than ready. So as I jumped the gun, I'll wait a week for you all to catch up and then I'll jump back in. I did an experiment by over painting white reflective tape using Tamiya blue clear it worked quite well but would probably look better airbrushed rather than hand brushed. I want to replicate the blue reflective panels on police vehicles.

It's sunny in Africa today.
