Military Bedford O type

Been building the Emhar Bedford Kits for a while now and this is my latest creation.

Its base on a New Zealand Bedfor that has been cut and chopped, once turned into an open top truck metal plating has been added to the sides for protection and a Lewis gun for retaliation....











With the top removed and in primer the front armour plating can be added to the bonnet and cab....

Now for the Lewis Gun, this is scratch built from the back end of a machine gun from a 1/35 tank, some aluminium tube and a 1/24 brake disk on top for the magazine.......





Once the gun was built I could start adding the green, this green is actually the real macoy, proper Nato green paint mixed by an industrial paint suppler to the same standard the Military use.

The only difference is that this is not Infa red resistant....



With it now in green all that is left is to weather it and add some of the decals....

Finally finished the bedford, been sitting on the shelf for way too long and as i was in a modeling mood got my arse into gear and done it...
