So you want to make signs for your diorama? ... I've stumbled upon a easy way to make them. Firstly, if you have Microsoft Word, import a picture of the sign you want to duplicate for your diorama, resize to suit then print it out onto plain white paper using an ink jet printer. If you have a stock of Johnson's Kleer, airbrush a couple of coats just to seal the face of the paper, either let it dry normally or force dry it. Then spray a couple of mist coats of Halfords Clear Lacquer onto the paper letting each coat dry. After a couple of hours, cut out the signs and stick them to 5 thou 'Plasticard' and voilla! ... there's your sign. Here's a before shot ... ... and an after shot ... ... and one that's been in the water for a while ... ... I love this hobby!
