Starting on December 25th 2014 and ending at SMW 2015. Ideally using the Airfix/Aardman kits it will be up to the builder to portray the theme of 'Space' in their own way. Due to the scarcity of the Airfix/Aardman kits we've decided to open the build to any kit/any scale so long as the kit is modified and in line with the usual 'Beyond the Box' ethic. You can have 'Space' the final frontier, Inner 'Space', Outer 'Space', Waste of 'Space' in fact however you want to define the subject

Hi Nick - this sounds great. I will definitely do a model for 2015 - I am thinking of "Gromit - the 2nd dog in space" featuring a rocket plus a gantry & launch pad with Wallace in a white coat at a control desk.
Looking forward to Christmas so that I can get officially started!

Hi there
Just recently I have had a flurry of activity on my build. It's been a very full on year and modelling time has been very limited. In theory I should be ready for Telford - but there's always a chance of a last minute spanner in the works...
Anyway the build has evolved slightly - it still features a rocket and gantry but it's now "Pigs in Space" rather than "Gromit, 2nd Dog in Space".
The rocket is 75% there. I will try and progress it over the next 2 weeks.
How is everyone else doing?
