Alternate "sensible" build for 2012

My mum just reminded me that my grandparents, who hosted our holidays, didn't move to Cleethorpes until 1957, so the DUKW's and Auster weren't quite as early as I thought, but they were certainly in the late 50's or early 60's. I had a certificate from the flight, and proudly displayed it on my primary school class notice board, but it disappeared before I could bring it home.
A DUKW and an Auster on a beach would make a nice diorama........hmmm......

Ok ladies, gents, and kiddiewinkles I have pretty much nailed the rules down in my mind I'll get them up as soon as poss and be ready for a Jan 1st start date right upto SMW '12
