I thought it was about time I got out the paints and did something with the look of the forum as it was getting a bit tired and dusty. I've had the banner for some time courtesy of Fatty and I think it brightens the forum up a tad, what do you all think.
I've not finished yet as I'd like the background the same shade of blue as the banner, maybe even have a contrasting colour splash?

well you did ask for comments - but there's no reply under Boss's bits Anyhooo, I like the banner but going for that blue over the whole page could be a bit testing on the eyes perhaps, same goes for the splashes. The dull green/grey (well it is on my screen) that we have at the mo is a bit drab, but doesn't strain the old retina's ;D One other factoid that may be due to personal set up, the message status alongside the banner is a bit scrunched up. Hopefully constructive Rich

Cheers for the comments Rich. I agree about the overall page colour, although drab looking it is easier on the eyeball. I've asked Fatty if he can reduce the banner size and that way the message status will be less squished. Paul Designed the banner ages ago but we chose the box banner, I like this one, it's bright and cheerful.

I don't know - perhaps a little more white in the mix? Like the banner though - much better!

I don't know - perhaps a little more white in the mix? What I did Harriet was to copy the colour codes from the banner and merge them with the background, that way the banner sits better and isn't isolated. Is it a bit bright then?
