For one of my idears for the BYTB build 'Civilian Use' is going to be very outside the box of thinking. Some time ago the company i work for disposed of HMS Intrepid, i do have in my stash a model of the ship. I plan to build a diarama of her in Bootle dock Liverpool being stripped (turned into recycled material for civilian use). Attachments:

Building has started, had quite a few imperfections in the moulding to sort. and those who are observant will notice that im using the sister ship 'Fearless' between the two there are only a few differences but having been on board Intrepid and took a large selection of pickies before we chopped it up i should be ok. This is the other model of HMS Intrepid ive been building, i think it is 1/220 scale or some thing lol. i obtained the deck plans of the ship and built it to scale from those deck by deck. i will get around to finishing it, at the moment its on the 'to do' shelf lol Attachments:
