Hornby Visitor Centre - Margate

As reported last year, the Hornby Visitor Centre at Margate have a display of 'Beyond the Box' exhibits. I've just been contacted by Darrell Burge, Marketing Manager Airfix - Humbrol, his email is shown below ...

Hi Nick,

I hope you’re well and looking forward to Telford this year. Have you any more “Beyond the Box” models you’d like us to show in the Visitor Centre for next year? It would be good to change the display for 2013. Please let me know your thoughts.

So, what do you think folks, would you like your 'Camping and Caravaning' exhibits displayed at the visitor centre?

Just had an email from Darrell Burge of Hornby, he would like to swap the Olympic exhibits for the Camping and Caravaning exhibits at SMW. This will involve 30 or so boxes being delivered to the SIG at SMW and I can't take them all home, so, those of you who supplied exhibits for Margate last year, I need you to collect them at the show please.

All the builds were returned at SMW, a couple had a few travel injuries but nothing too serious. Apart from a couple of builds which I held onto by request all have been returned to their respective owners.

A new batch of exhibits were transported to Margate from SMW this year and I've since been informed by Darrell Burge that a selection have been placed on display at the visitor centre. The display will be rotated from time to time over the following year to allow all the exhibits to be shown.
