As you may already know, after the SMW show at Telford the Airfix team transported several built models loaned by members of the 'Beyond the Box' SIG to the Hornby Visitor Centre in Margate in readiness for a proposed exhibition this year. Well, I've had an email from Darrell Burge of Airfix / Hornby to say that the models have been placed into exhibition cabinets in readiness for the exhibition which should be open to the visiting public for the Easter period. If you have access to a Facebook account, here's the Airfix link: www.facebook.com/#!/hornbymodelrailways

CRACKIN'!
My better half has just suggested aweekend away in that general direction! Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, do you have any inkling as to when the exhibition ends Nick?
Cheers Rich

Originally I was informed that it would be 12 months, but the wording in the Airfix / Hornby bulletins suggest 'for limited period only'. We were hoping to visit the exhibition in July whilst were in Kent for the 'War and Peace' show, I'll drop Darryl Burge an email and attempt to gain further info.

The 'Beyond the Box' exhibits will apparently be on display for the rest of the year. I hope to visit the exhibition in July whist attending the 'War and Peace' show at Beltring in Kent, I'll be taking the camera.
