Ok I've dusted the van kit down after removing it from the stash and have a rough idea where I'm going with it design wise I'm hoping to have some WIP to display at Huddersfield although it won't have any paint on yet Pics to follow when i put dremel to plastic

Ok I managed to put knife and dremel to plastic today I have two ideas for my build and haven't quite decided which avenue I'll be going with this yet but the base chassis will be the same. So the first task was to modify the cab slightly and remove a little bit of plastic I won't be needing Then I needed to lenghen the wheelbase slightly by 45mm ( just short of 22inches if you scale it up I think) I'd always intended it to be a duallie so a quick raid of the parts box and and a couple more with the cab on I have looked at Nicks previous Airfix Roadshow build and have taken some inspiration from that but I also have another source of inspiration and will post a pic off that shortly. Hope you enjoy progress so far, there is a long way to go with it and a fair bit of tinkering and fettling to do but I think it's going in the right direction so far.

My original idea was to really extend the chassis and make it a double twin wheel rear axled behemoth and then I saw this while watching Cars with Jesse Ok the A35 may not be Elvis but we've got Cliff or Shakin' Stevens
