A Cook On the Wild SideOK guy’s, time to throw my chef’s hat into the ring, since returning to the hobby SMW has always clashed with work commitments (Rally GB), this year the rally is in Sept, so I hope to have a couple of days in Telford with my son. As for my project, well it will be the Land Rover ............Blitzer has been watching re-runs of “a cook on the wild side” on the Food Channel and decided to convert the Land Rover. For those who haven’t seen the programme, it is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, in the early days, driving around the countryside in a beat up converted old Land Rover with a fold out kitchen, all the gear to live off the land and an upturned rowing boat on the roof as the sleeping compartment. Funnily enough since coming out all Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, the animals all seem to have gone into hiding !!!!!!!! Regards Ian D

Hi Ian, love, love it, love it. I take it you will be having a Wallace Fearnley-Whittingstall at the helm? We get lots of LR's like that down here in SA most of them the more modern type but I had a Srs III which looked a lot like that until the government disagreed with it's untidy look and imposing position under the car port. Sadly it has gone to another home!
